St. Francis of Assisi Commission:
We are the San Francisco commission of the association Maria Madre Guardiana de la fe. Our mission within the Association is to help low-income families living in precarious situations. Our mission consists in the monthly delivery of basic necessities and more importantly to help them in the spiritual development of each of the families. A family is rigorously qualified thanks to visits of members of the commission who were directed by a social visitor and have the responsibility to verify the real situation of the family. Since this is a very important aspect, on Fridays in the chapel of the Guardiana de la Fe, the prayer of the Stations of the Cross and the Holy Rosary, accompanied by catechesis, is held for all the beneficiary families. At the moment we have 60 familiesAs part of the work we have a closet, we collect used clothes, some of which are given to the families as needed, and we also hold a flea market three times a year. With the funds raised we cover the expenses and needs of the families. We try to give priority in helping the elderly, generally single people, and young people with large families who cannot work. For young mothers we try to help them to work, we have given out food parcels with goodies so that they can find their livelihood there... Come join us in this mission that our Mother in HEAVEN has entrusted us!!!
John Paul II Commission:
The John Paul II Commission helps low-income pregnant women who have said YES to Life. Every month, thanks to the donations that we receive monthly from some people, we deliver trousseaus for the babies that are about to be born, with all the indispensable things for their care such as bathtub, diapers, wet wipes, diaper cream, shampoo, soap, bottles, clothes, hand bags, playpens, strollers, cribs, feeding chairs, etc, that are in good condition. For Mother's Day and Christmas we also prepare a celebration for the future Mothers, and every Tuesday at 10:30am we meet to pray with them.

Casa Hogar:
The Garden Foundation of Cajas established the "Guardiana de la Fe" Home with the purpose of providing shelter and support to children and young people who have broken family ties due to violence and instability in their homes, having to face many physical and psychological dangers, developing multiple problems of emotional instability and in many cases reaching episodes of depression and anxiety.
The program provides them with orientation towards the prevention of drug use, to change inappropriate behaviors and find a sense of life in a warm and safe environment so that they can develop their potential and gradually build a positive change of life, to be good people and achieve their family and / or social reintegration.

One of Our Lady's requests in several of her messages is that we work for the poorest and neediest.
One of the branches of the works of mercy commission works to feed once a week more than 160 people of low income, most of them live on the streets, many of them elderly, since 1991, a family is responsible for each Saturday, all the devotees are always invited to accompany in this work, in which in addition to serving these brothers, we listen to their stories and needs, many of which are directed to other commissions such as San Francisco.
Once a year, on Christmas Eve, we make a celebration, doing something special for lunch on that day.
The goal for the near future is to extend the work to every day of the week.
